emperors-new-clothesFollowing the announcement that Telecom would soon change its name to Spark, the CEO has been inundated with requests from travelling clothing sellers to update his personal wardrobe.

Speaking to WWNews on condition of anonymity, seamster Wenbourn Effriminid said the head honcho was obviously a man worth targeting.  “Anyone who says things like ‘Spark better reflects the company’s new direction and the aspirations it has for its place in the life of New Zealanders’ without choking will swallow anything,” he said.  “More importantly, they’ll buy anything.  Especially if they believe it’s quality merchandise.”

Two others in the queue, Neffer Girvan-Succour and Evan Breyk, agreed, saying they had a nice line of suiting to show the CEO and hoped he would be particularly impressed by the cut and the feel, and the lightness of the carry-bag.
